You will be making 6 different card designs and a
chance for you to relax, unwind, enjoy fellowship with other Stampers, and
STAMP at YOUR leisure as you float from station to station at YOUR own pace!

WHEN IS STAMP SHOPPE:

The stamp Shoppe is open once a month on a Friday and Saturday.

The Stamp Shoppe is open from 6:30 - 9:30 pm on Friday Evening
and from 10am - 1pm on Saturday Mornings.
You can arrive at any time during the first hour of the Shoppe's opening for
that day.

Gosh where do I start! My Dad Passed away February 21, 2011 and ended his 4 and half year battle with esophageal cancer that metastasized to his lungs, liver and stomach and never complained about the pain I'm sure he was in. What can I say he always looked out for us especially Me and My sister Georgeanne. My sister and I had the Honor of being with him when he passed and took care of him for thee last 6 months to which I would do again in a heartbeat.

He was a quite and unassuming man, He drove a truck up to the day of his diagnosis. He loved Guns , Westerns, and a good blood and guts movie! When I was growing up we often stood up late and watched horror movies till the TV went off air. My Mother worked as a nurse and worked a shift that left us (me and Jan) with him until she came home then he would go on the road. We would have who could sock each other the hardest contest and surprise nose tweeks so by the time my Mom came home our arms would be sore and our noses would have little black and blue marks at the end. It sounds like abuse but we had a ball. My Mom would say what the heck have you guys been doin we'd look at each other and simply answer NOTHIN!

Whatever we asked for My Pop always tried his best to do or get it for us. I will miss him something awful, but I know that he is pain free and with my Granma Lala and my little sister Cerina.

Hello Fellow stampers I just want to say that I appreciate everyone who has ever supported me in my Stampin Up business. So to show that appreciation I hosted a little get together with dinner and a project, a few of my past Hostess' responded to my invitation in addition I invited my new recruits. We had pasta with meat balls, Garlic bread and anti pasta salad from Guilianos if you have never tried Guilianos and you live in California you gotta try it. Immediately after we chowed down we started our project which was a Love-Bot that I saw the pattern for on Kim Score's website you can click on her name to get her recipe. She is FAB! Below you can see what we made and how everybody's turned out!

My new recruit and friend Kathy, We filled our creations with candy she made hers special too. If you look closely she made hers saying ooh or maybe blowing kisses!
This is my other recruit Stephanie she a busy girl and is just as creative as her momma Liz.
Here my best friend and supporter Liz, she is a perfectionist, everything is gotta be in place..OY!
My Sis is a big supporter of my Stampin Up biz to and like Liz a perfectionist.

My best friend Liz had a Christmas card making party and we all brought supplies to make our cards and to share as well. We were to bring something to munch on, But I was late as usual, Liz doesn't have a grocery store near by I thought I would pick up a platter after I got near her house. Needless to say I was empty handed! My friend Liz took care of me though she is the best hostess in the world! We toiled and listened to Christmas tunes we were like little elves! Then Sunday My Hubby and I went to the Hustler casino here in Gardena California and played Texas Hold-em poker that was fun I was up 200.00 at one point it's ok I didn't loose much that was their money I lost.

Any whoo This what I made.
Only six cards try cutting out 36 little gingerbread people (i wanna be politically correct) OY! Next weekend I am having my oldest and youngest daughters over to make cards too!

Ok ok Nothing! You got me, The 2nd two projects were made for my secret sister at convention in July, the first project I did for a sewing retreat at my Friends place as a little somethinsomthin. I have some other projects I will post when I get them off my camera. So bye for now, gotte get back to cleaning my Daughters boyfriends parents are coming for breakfast tomorrow...YIKES!

We got to catch up to him between rehearsals, We didn't have much time to chat, but he was as sweet as anything to accommodate us with photos he's so darling. He kinda looks like me ha! I made fifty of these invites for a friends wedding. I made the background paper from a picture. Her theme was ocean is that right? Anywhoo then I made a double pocket for the RSVP card and the reception card. Her address labels were also mad from the same picture. I went to avery.com and printed her labels with their program that was fun.

I had a class to which several guests came and we made these cute mini milk cartons made with thee new die from Stampin'Up! in the new occasions catalog. I cased the holder from Paper Punch Addiction. She also has the pattern and paper punch art that is to die for.
This was our Valentines card we made. These are my sister (Georgeanne) and Nieces (Sommer) cards.

This card was cased form the stamp link, isn't it cute and of course my sis embellished hers different. Go figure!

Help for Haiti

As I’ve said before Stampin’ Up! is a fabulous company to work for and one that I am proud to be a part of. They are for sure a company with a “Heart”!

Here is a bit of what they are doing to help the people of Haiti…..

They invited employees to help assemble the kits over the next few days, and apparently the response was so enthusiastic that they got all the kits assembled in one day!

It’s only fitting that one of these pictures shows our own Stampin’ Up! president Dale Fillmore, because the idea for the kits was his. Like so many of our Stampin’ Up! employees, demonstrators, and customers, he was looking for a way to help that would truly be beneficial.

This my talented brother Jerry..ain't he cute! Below is another pic of my Mom with my sister Georgeanne's gift. My sister wraps presents beautifully.

This year we went to my Sister Georgeanne's house for a little party then Christmas day we drove to my Mom's house in Moreno Valley, California. On the way we stopped at my friend Liz' house to pick up our annual cookie plate , which we usually gobble up while on the way to Grandmas house. However my Husband Jim tried putting them down in the back seat and did not wrap them well and dumped more than half of them on the floor of our van. Sooooo we used the 30 second rule but I kept feeling like I was eating carpet...yuk! lol eating carpet!!

We made to my Moms house where my older bro Jerry lives with Cheryl and Cole temporarily. So they didn't have to do any traveling. We had Honey baked ham and my Moms potato salad and pork n beans with pineapple very yummy! Cole passed out presents and then we sat around like broccoli.
We headed home around 9pm traffic was terrific! Here are some photos!

Megan made this card after Liz and Nora left the snowflake is made with the Big Shot and made out of vellum.

This was Megan's final card of the night!

My daughter wanted to come over and make some Christmas cards and so I invited my berry berry best friend Liz and she brought a High school friend over whom I love Nora. We went crazy making cards or should I say Liz,Megan and Nora I was the gopher girl which was not a bad thing I can always use the exercise. Besides when we have craft night at Liz' house she is the gopher girl poor thing never gets anything done Liz how do you do this, do you have and so forth! I don't have a picture of Nora's yet. Her card was beautiful too!
We had fun and ate some pizza and yakked yakked yakked.

This is Liz's project of which her, Susan and I have the same project hers and Susan' are done mine is not....not unheard of!
Susan made this cute handbag for her employees for Christmas what a great boss!

This display was at a quilt shop in Lake arrowhead aren't they cute I bought the pattern!

Here is Our new baby Charlie...ain't he cute as a button! This picture was taken in February 2009 so by the time I get him he will be almost a year. My friend at work John Withrow's daughter had to find a home for Charlie and Lillie (Pekinese/shitsu mix 1.5 years still needs a home if your interested) I was looking for new guy since Hamish has been gone I've had this void...Don't get me started anywhoo, My daughter Megan was searching high and low for a new baby for us and everyone wanted anywhere from 150 to 350 dollars to adopt and I'm thinking I could use that towards my new little guy. Just when I was going to give up and wait until after thee Holidays, John asked me If knew anyone who wanted a dog, so I asked what kind of dogs . He then starts to describe Lillie, then he starts to describe Charlie and I said I think I would like Charlie. I said let me talk to my Hubby..the rest was history, as I write John has left to pick up Charlie and Lillie. I will get him Monday afternoon I will repost an updated photo of Charlie (maybe Hercules) then. Tell me what you think!

Here is a picture of a card that I made for my boss at work. It was cased from Jackie Topia. She has created some very cute and adorable punch cards. She had him in a small pool, but by the time I was ready to put him together I realized that I made a mistake. SOOO I embellished and put flip flops on him and used the oval scallop punch for clouds. The inside says 'live life like you mean it"

These are cards that we made at my Friends workshop. This card is made with the stamp set called Circle Circus #115778 and with the new in colors.

This card was made with the Big shot #113439, Birds & Blooms #113485, Little Leaves #114511, Backgrounds #1 #114512, Scallop oval punch #114889, Oval punch #large oval and my most favorite thing of all are the doodle bug Jewels. Whisper White,basic black and pretty in pink cardstock. This card was cased from Dawn she is awesome thank Dawn.

Afterward we went nuts making match boxes with the new die from Stampin Up! and Sizzix

We always have fun when my Friend Liz has a workshop the food is the bomb as always, I luv ya girl!! At this workshop we also had a friend from High school. I have also known Liz since grade school. Our friend Nora is a hoot, she got a booboo from the Stampin Up! scissors I usually say to be careful I forgot and it happened ... she practically cut her finger off...alright I'm exaggerating of course. But I will remember to say that from here on in!

Hello everyone It has been some time since we've shared. This is our Grand Daughter Vivianna she just graduated from high school and is on her way to college to study veterinary science. Jim and I are so proud of our Pookie thats her nickname. That is her graduation picture taken by a friend of mine Karl Willis a photographer and our parts Manager from where I work. I made these invites as well as announcements for her. She is a dead ringer (i think) of my Mom when she was young. My Mom is an ex Bathing Beauty. This picture is reminiscent of the fifties era.

Hello everyone it is that time of the year again for Sale-A-Bration. This event only comes once a year and for only two months. Through out the months of February and March, You can earn the certain items from this brochure in three different ways as a Customer, a Hostess or as a New Recruit. My other beloved hobby QUILTING, although I've gotta say that quilting is not my favorite part it's the idea and the sewing with friends, meeting such creative ladies. To which if you ask any quilter they will tell you that they have more unfinished than complete. Too many cute patterns!
This pattern is to look woven when I sew the squares together, it came from a book that my BFF Sherrie had and the material was given to me my BEST BFF's in the world for my Birthday...can you tell I love PURPLE!!!

I was trying to sneak a square but Liz caught me in the act! DRATS!! Not really I am Helping my BFF Debbie put a charity quilt together. This is Liz' design wall, They are not sewn together yet.

This was our Christmas photo let's see from left :Rob, Jerry, Hi-c, Megan, Jeff(megan's boyfriend),Me, Jazz, Cepheus, Cole and Cheryl's shoulder. We had a ball that day. Jazz sang a Christmas song with her little santa outfit..she's a hoot!

Hello all, One of the ladies at work needed some Christmas invites so these are the samples I made for her, of course these were cased from splitcoaststampers website. I think they are both cute. She wants the elf one but the elves looked to old for her kids party so I am doing the same background but with Santa in the middle.

Here is my version of the snowman Frankie. I used this icicle technique that was pretty cool but my patience for watching paint dry is not good. You lay out a thin line of crystal effects on a piece of wax paper make a few drips and sprinkle with glitter wait an hour or so then peel it off the wax paper and use crystal effects to glue it down. VIOLA!

HAPPY HALLOWEENIE!! I am going bonkers over these Frankie's someone help me please! I promise you one thing though they are not getting any smaller lol. My eyes can't take it!
Is it ever going to stop!! It's is now 3am and I can't stop makin Frankies. Her lashes got a little Moonged, but I think she looks darn good for 3am in the morning...don't you? She kinda looks like Joann Worley, or My Husband said it resembles me. hahaha!! YA think?

Today I had a Christmas card class and Liz, DS Jan, LaToya and last but not least my new friend Stephanie. This was Stephanie's first time stamping with us and I hope we didn't scare her away...Stephanie was a SU website referral. It was nice meeting you and hope to see you at future classes Stephanie.

We used the Big Shot and Embossed, used some glitter some more than others and you know who you are...hmmhmm! We also had some yummy chicken from the local place in Gardena and chinese chicken salad from G.N.B.Y cafe also in Gardena, We were very chickeny! All of these cards were cased from one source or anther, But the Frankie was my favorite after I was finished I showed the DH and he said shouldn't he have bolts instead of arrows, so I modified the arrows from the going my way punch to look like bolts. This lady is awesome! I am not one to come up with new ideas and thank gosh for women like her who's creativity is shared with stampers such as myself. Thanks Dawn! Here are a few pictures of the Open House. These are thee Fabulous ladies of my Stampin'Up! family(left to right) Jennifer, Vicki,Maili,Adele,DeeDee(aka D2) and Lucy! Not pictured here but a very big part of the picture is Laurie she was the pit boss, she was issuing citations all over the place. WOW alot of stamps and a make n take card that was to die for, We also had accessories too! We all worked hard and had a great time as well. So if you did not make this year I certainly hope to see you next year!

Family Get Together

This is the card I made for my Brother Jerry for his birthday!
On Sunday the 27th of April we had family over at my aunt Rose's house for a reunion of sorts, We missed a few components such as my older sister Alawn and my bil Michael,My uncle George and aunt Josie and their family. We had a great time catching up and remembering. We also celebrated my Brother Jerry's birthday with cake and singing I think he really dug that. Our youngest Grand daughter Jazz had a Birthday a few days before so Jim and I gave her card with a gift. Here is a picture.
My Mom Helen, Aunt Pauline, Aunt Rose, Aunt Margo and my Uncle Al. My Aunt Pauline came from Nevada for a visit all by herself she is so brave!

This card was going to be my Grand Daughters Birthday card , But I thought that it was a little too old for her. I cased this from a woman named Michelle Zindorf a wnderful artist whom I admire. Trust me my card is no comparison!! Anywhho while I was doing this card I thought that they looked like pineapples. So I made a card for My hubby for his birthday, that oddly resembles another one of Michelle's other cards...HEHE!

I'm a little under the weather today having a cold when it is hot outside is no fun. I had some friends and family over for a Home and Garden party Sunday we had so much fun and Kim Leon was our demonstrator. Very cute stuff! Well by the time everyone left I was feeling a little tired so I decided to lay down for a nap and woke up feeling a cold coming on when your freezing and it is still 80 degrees outside something is a muck...right! So I am feeling better so off to work tomorrow :O( BOOhoo. Thats fine I was gettin bored at home any olways!
